So, you're thinking of making Lake Clermont your home - excellent choice! Here are some things you should know before making your purchase.
Lake Clermont is a covenant community, with restrictions that are a legal part of your real estate closing documents. In other words, there are rules and regulations that we collectively have agreed to, so as to have a more comfortable and pleasant place to live. These restrictions are required to be enforced by the Property Owners Association (POA) board and its sub-committees. You should receive a copy of the covenants you sign from your lawyer or your real estate agency. You may also find a copy by clicking the Covenants link in the site menu on the left.
The POA is the governing body of the community and is charged with upholding its covenants, making decisions about budgeted and non budgeted spending, and generally looking out for the wellbeing of the community. There are a variety of sub-committees that residents voluntarily participate on. A report naming all members of the POA board and its sub-committees is available via the Meet the POA link in the site menu on the left.
